Heart of Sky, Heart of Earth

This film follows six young indigenous Maya into their daily life and their determined struggle to resist the destruction of their culture, their native corn, their rain forests and mountains. Their stories are interwoven with images associated with Mayan mythology, the beauty of nature and its vulnerability. Their cosmovision where nature and all life are sacred will be juxtaposed with the mindless, shortsighted corporate exploitation of the Earth. (Guanajuato International Film Festival)
