In 1925 Mussolini sent Cesare Mori to Sicily, as a police prefect, with the task of defeating the Mafia. The following four years entered the history as the time of the "Iron Prefect", who arrested and convicted over 2 000 mafiosi. True story about the struggle against the Sicilian Mafia. In 1925 Mussolini, who came to power three years ago, sent Cesare Mori to Sicily, as a police prefect, with the task of defeating the Mafia. The Fascist regime was concerned about its power and influence, so the following four years entered the history as the time of the "Iron Prefect". After the brutal murder of a family, Mori uses his direct and extreme methods in what looks more like a war than a police operation. Constantly fighting in the front lines, we even see him challenge a bandit to a duel. Even though his methods give miraculous results against lower violent crime, he runs into trouble when he finds out the upper Mafia are connected with important political figures. (Cinemax)
