Frustrated with her mid-class life, a stay-at-home mom, Rachel visits a local strip joint and begins to fixate on the idea of "saving" McKenna, a stripper at the club whom she promptly hires as a live-in nanny for her children... Thirtysomething Rachel seemingly has everything a young woman could want: a handsome, devoted, successful husband; beautiful children; considerable wealth; and a chic home in L.A.'s exclusive Silver Lake neighborhood. Inside, however, she's drowning in dissatisfaction. Another woman who is going through a mid-life crisis and decides to solve it by pulling a girl out of misery after visiting a strip club and give her a better life. However, this middle-aged woman quickly realizes that the world is somewhat different than she imagines, and not everything she wants is as it should be. At least according to her expectations. The film has its power and natural acting performances. It's quite nice to see Josh "How I Met Your Mother" Radnor somewhere else and find out that even though he plays the same way, it's enough.
