Apart from being unemployed, Gabi also isn't quite young. When the employment office offers him a job cutting off the water supply of deadbeats, he has no choice but to accept. The debtors are his neighbours who are just as miserable due to the crisis as himself, which makes the job all the worse. When he's supposed to cut off the water to the football sponsor of his son, and thus threaten the career of his beloved child, he faces a morally difficult decision. The director found inspiration for his feature debut in his father's profession. The simple story is ingeniously completed by the contemplative camera focused on the grim face of the main protagonist, who is played by one of the leading Israeli actors – Moshe Ivgy. (Febiofest)
