Thief Alex Cardo (Daniel Bernhardt) gets caught trying to steal an Asian treasure. Even though he's a master of martial arts, he is overpowered by the angry mobs who despise him and he is constantly tormented by a particular guard. In prison, he meets Master Sun (David Hong), the world's greatest Iron Hand practitioner. Cardo studies with him and becomes proficient with his methods. When the evil guard Demien is invited to Kumite (an international tournament), Cardo and Master Sun scheme to get a chance to exact revenge against the bullying guard for all the pain he inflicted.
