Alan is a flunky of an influential congressman. When the corrupted politician leaves his mistress brutally beaten after one of their arguments, Alan decides to intervene and take her to the hospital. However, the consequences of this deed are cruel. The captivating editing of the opening credits, with takes of an expensive car being washed, suggests that Mexican TV production can easily be compared to cinema production. The dynamic sound of the electronic music draws you into the story that is introduced by the ruthless behaviour of the congressman and his subordinates. From the very beginning, however, most of the suspense lies in the brilliant acting performance of Alan played by Noé Hernández. (Febiofest)
