Classic 1960s sci-fi horror based on the novel by John Wyndham. When an unseen force invades the village of Midwich, ten women are found to be mysteriously pregnant. All the children, who are born simultaneously, have white hair, glowing eyes, strange psychic powers, and boast precocious talents and a telepathic connection to one another. When a spate of unexplained deaths occur in the village, Professor Gordon Zellaby (George Sanders), whose wife gave birth to one of the children, sets out to investigate. (Warner Bros. Well, this old sci-fi flick might not be the pinnacle of sophistication, but it’s still a pretty nice watch. I just love the encounter of humanity with a more advanced “something” in pretty much any form and I don’t need any added value (though I’m not mad when there is some). And if you add to that scary kids with shining eyes… brrr :-D. ()
