After their blind date goes horribly wrong, single parents Jim Friedman (Adam Sandler) and Lauren Reynolds (Drew Barrymore) end up at the same African safari resort with their respective children in tow. Over the course of the holiday, with a few mishaps along the way, Jim and Lauren begin to see each other in a new light.
