Nicolas Cage has certainly had weaker films, but this one isn't exactly a great marvel either. A politician who isn't all that bad, he just doesn't know where to put it. He has his ideals, but he's out of luck because it gets out that he had sex out of wedlock. And then he goes on enjoying himself, even though he wants to keep fighting for ideals. A dramatic romance that didn't grab me. ()
