He wanders the desert unaware of who he is, how he got here and where he is going. This man, whose identity like his head is concealed, trudges towards oblivion, his hands tied in a world of encroaching darkness. Discovered by a woman who nurses him back from the brink of expiration the man has no memory –only a piece of paper in his pocket baring the name of a mysterious Manny Elder. The past beckons and for the hero that means the netherworld of Los Angeles where no one is who they seem and the clues accumulate to a reckoning beyond anything he could have ever suspected or summoned in the darkest places of his heart.
