English Better than Captain America :))) The story of Big Hero Six doesn’t bother with new themes or new ways to devastate New York, its mission is to cleverly recycle old motifs, adding wit and possibly adapting them to a younger audience. The film is thus full of hidden or surprising references, direct or slightly adapted quotes from live-action comics adaptations, and finally, likeable characters who manage to perfectly combine Marvel with pure Disney antics. The climax is dull and the second half doesn't have as many jokes and surprises as the first, but it's still a very cool affair, definitely better than the second Despicable Me. 80% ()

English I had some suspicion that it could be a good animated movie, and that suspicion ended up being confirmed. Besides the fact that there are actually superheroes in it, it is wonderfully action-packed, there are inventions and robots, and especially one specific robotic caretaker. Thanks to these characters, the film is incredibly entertaining, not to mention how amazing the animation is at times. Disney did it again. ()

English Avengers meets StarGate in a Disney animated version. In some places, the film quotes scenes of other films so blatantly (e.g. Iron Man at the end of Avengers and Hiro at the end of Big Hero 6) that it can no longer be considered a rip-off, but rather a spoof. I’m sure there’ll be people bothered by the overall lack of originality and creativity, I can see them already, but that doesn’t bother me much in animated films. It’s cute, entertaining, funny, even a little emotional, which is enough for an animated comic-book fairy-tale. ()

English The 54th Disney Feature Film or mice and their version of Marvel comics. Big Hero 6 is set in San Fransokyo, a futuristic combination of San Francisco and Tokyo. While I never thought Disney would be able to grapple with the kind of substance that the "Sunfire & Big Hero 6" comic book series offered, it became nearly impossible. Traditional values and a classic coming-of-age story reimagined to fit perfectly into the current "Disney Revival" era. Every minute is worked out to the smallest detail, and you can’t help but root for the main cast almost immediately. Yet the very best element of the whole film is of course the robot Baymax, which every child would like to have in their room. Luckily for the oldest fans, there's also the series, which naturally picks up where the film leaves off. ()

English It's been a long time since I've given out four five-star ratings in one week, but Big Hero 6 is guilty pleasure as fuck and every guy's wet dream!! The visuals are incredibly good and at times I felt like I wasn't watching an animated film. All the high tech awesomeness was a joy to watch and I wouldn't have minded if the whole movie had been about robot wrestling, but even the Avengers choice was welcome with a villain that even Marvel wouldn't be ashamed of. All the good characters are likeable and I want Baymax at home! The awesome quips from Fred are pretty cool as well. Perfect entertainment that is both touching and twisted! 90% ()
