Sailors from a ship anchored in the port flood the streets of Lisbon, hungry for wine, women and fight. Fado sounds in the streets of Lisbon ... The first animated film by Portuguese illustrator and caricaturist Fernando Relvas refers to fado around the half of the 19th century - a time when this genre was associated solely with pubs and brothels. The film music was recorded with the best fado singers of the young generation, such as Ricardo Ribeiro, Marco Oliveira and Mafalda Taborda. (Summer Film School)
