Prioritize:
Despite having no expectations and no affinity for the genre, I must say that the Tamil gore spoof manages to scare as honestly as its contemporaries from around the world. The script starts with a hackneyed story, but gradually turns from a young romance into a solid horror film with a surprising climax. It's nicely oversized and overly complicated in terms of what the real truth is, but it's all the more functional for it. There's also a great catchphrase, namely that the bride would like to get married on 12/12/2012 because that’s on Rajnikanth's birthday. At certain moments the film also serves as a tribute to Rajnikanth. I have no objection to such taste. ()
