Plots(1)

A poetic look at ruins that have been home to an old hermit for 40 years. His isolation from the world is interrupted only by the children living nearby. While explaining the alphabet to them, at the letter P he runs up against an unknown creature. It is white as snow and symbolizes the change that the world has undergone. The journey in search of the pelican represents the clash with otherness and with the future.
Close-up shots of a horse's hooves, and soon the hermit submerges himself into a lake, the pelican's home. Images the breath with the aesthetics of silent cinema, of a world similar to the lost world in which the film's protagonist lives. (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
