In The Mummy Resurrected, you simply observe someone attempting to control the mummy, even though you don't really understand why. The mummy has to be resurrected because it's just inevitable, otherwise, there wouldn't be a story, so any surprise is lost, but this film doesn't have anything else to offer in other aspects either. Just a barren and empty place that is not worth watching at all. There are other ways to kill time.
