I like British humor, but there was little of it here, or perhaps I didn't quite grasp it. I was simply expecting something completely different than what I got. I think I was most impressed by the children's characters in the story and the shots of the stunning Scottish landscape, but that is not enough to say with a clear conscience that I saw a really good film.
