Astronaut's Ark, The

The amorphous shape of the Kunsthaus building in Graz, designed by Peter Cook and Colin Fournier, inspired three filmmakers to shoot a piece of video art which treated the museum building as a spacecraft. An astronaut awakens and explores the building inside and out, in a series of almost geometrically composed scenes. Reflections on the building’s façade parallel reflections of our own time. The picture looks from a different angle, not just at the architecture, but also at the feelings of an alien, a visitor to the museum in the world of art. (Academia Film Olomouc)
