Tine Gutmann dreams of working as a journalist. She has talent: Tine won awards for her writing, even if it was only for the school newspaper. An early pregnancy and a knack for getting involved with the wrong men prevented Tine from starting her promising career – until now. When Tine finds out her boyfriend Frank has cheated on her, her life suddenly shifts into high gear. Burning with a desire to take revenge on her ex, she submits a story entitled "My Little Friend" to the men's magazine "Matador" – using Frank's name. The publishing director Dagmar Rothenburg is thrilled, as is Tine: she finally gets a chance, even though she has to pretend being a man writing for a men's magazine! Even though the testosterone-fueled world of men proves to be a major challenge, Tine enthusiastically jumps into her new role – even appearing quite handsome in men's clothing. Everything could have worked out, were it not for Moritz Blank, the chief editor of "Matador". At first dismissive of his new writer, he grows increasingly warmer toward his "buddy" Frank. When Dagmar Rothenburg shows erotic interest in her new super author, Tine realizes she must act. (official distributor synopsis)
