The Great Picture Robbery

Trouble begins when 10-year-old Ema secretly signs her name on her more artistic classmate's pictures; she learns that the pictures will be displayed in the local museum. The only way to escape discovery is to find suitable allies to help her carry out a great picture heist. An overheard conversation provides her with the name of a known school troublemaker. When she goes to his house, she mistakes his younger brother Matěj for him. He's anything but an experienced burglar. Matěj likes Ema, so he doesn't admit the mix-up and decides to help. But everything turns out differently than expected due to unforeseen circumstances, their ingenious plan falls to ruins, and Ema and Matěj hide in the museum. Then a policeman arrives - Matěj's dad! There's nothing left to do but try a completely non-traditional solution. (Zlín Film Festival)
