Au revoir l' ete

Before 18 year old Sakuko starts university, she visits her Aunt Mikie in a seemingly sleepy coastal Japanese town. Mikie runs back into her old flame Ukichi who now manages the local love motel, whilst Sakuko gets to know Takashi, a young Fukushima refugee who works there. But just as Sakuko is becoming friends with the shy, straight-talking Takashi, he reunites with a former classmate and the attraction between the two is too obvious for Sakuko to ignore.
