Marek Margit - the symbol of a generation - has played main roles in several amateur films around 1968, then she vanished in the wake of the failure of youth's experiment of self-expression in the sixties. Ten years later, her divorced, amateur film-maker husband nominates her to Vitray's excellent program called "What is in the heads", searching for talents. The television performance does not take place, but Serényi, the director struggling with problems of creation, finds a key to his own life as a result of his own questions. As a confession, he makes a film portraying Margit's life, but he is unable to complete it, but Margit is annoyed by the film and leaves for a European tour with Andorkó again.
