Look What's Happened to Rosemary's Baby

(TV movie)

Plots(1)

Yes! There really was a sequel to William Castle’s 1968 demonic chiller, Rosemary's Baby. You’ve probably never heard of it because it was only broadcast in 1976 as a TV movie. Although no Polanski, director Sam O’Steen (editor of the original) did his best with the goofy script he was given, as did the impressive cast which includes Ruth Gordon from the original as well as Ray Milland, Patty Duke, Broderick Crawford, Donna Mills and George Maharis. The one performer who truly saves the film by doing a stellar job in the lead role as Satan’s son is Nova Scotia’s own Stephen McHattie. (Fantasia International Film Festival)

English A TV film that obviously had to be made. The Stepford Wives has become a TV series too. But the basic problem is that the original Rosemary is working with an evil that doesn't even seem to exist, isn't tangible, isn't visible, and maybe it was all just a hallucination of the pregnant Rosemary. Well, I guess evil is just common here. ()
