Shot entirely at the house of the director’s parents, this film is a tribute to her parents’ struggle to get out from Iran and to move to France in the middle of extreme conditions and a social revolution. In 1979, when Iranian Revolution turned their ideals and their world upside down, Kaveh and Fariba were 20-year-old Marxist students. Mixing everyday-life scenes, intimate confessions, and metaphysical digressions with memories recorded in Super 8 and Hi8, this documentary film talks about the values and the adherence to ideals, about the commitment of a family to stay together in exile. This is a passionate call to search for the meaning of our existence. (El Riviera Maya Film Festival)
