Documentary journals bring together a family album, a grotesque chronicle of the Philippines, and a reflection on the post-colonial situation. This history includes the director's oldest son's coming-of-age. The fitting commentary on the era combines a child's point of view with that of an engaged artist. The unifying element is the color yellow - a symbol of resistance both individual and collective. "My footages are like tiles in a mosaic. You shuffle them, change them around. In my process, nothing is permanent." Kidlat Tahimik (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
