The correspondence ends with a farewell. We are again in Berlin, whose urban-industrial character we now notice far more clearly thanks to the rotating crane. At the end, this single letter combines human life and its transient being with nature and mankind's civilizational efforts. The transition from poetry to man's intimate sphere is complete.
