Vers Madrid: The Burning Bright

“When has anyone asked for permission to make a revolution?” “No houses without families or families without houses.” These are sayings that French director Sylvain George captures with his camera while documenting one of the most important social movements of our times: the 15-M, occurred in Madrid. He films the protests along the streets of Madrid to the Puerta del Sol, and seizes the opportunity to show the architecture, the public places, and the feel of the city, with the purpose of giving context to that historic moment and intending to understand why the indignados upraised against a system that drowned the people into a deep crisis.
