Distanc (DXM)

This short film uses surrealist techniques to depict out-of-body experiences. The goal is to mediate at least a cursory intimation of the feelings and thoughts happening inside a person moving from the everyday "Here" into the indescribable "There". The inspiration for this project comes from direct personal experiences of the author, with their deeply impersonal nature accentuated by the reflective tendency of the symbols used: Not only does the subject dissolve gradually, but with the rigth attitude, even the observer/spectator is dissolved.
