Firstly, I'm finding that I have less and less affection for religious stories, even those that portray the character of Jesus quite realistically, albeit with a touch of fantasy, as is the case here. But the fantasy comes from the way the film tries to enter his soul. Secondly, this film is just an artistic bore. And that's it.
