What's up in 1350 A.D.? Forget the muddy streets and Black Death. The stage belongs to the jolly prankster Till Eulenspiegel, a freelance merrymaker who holds up a mirror to man's stupidity, pokes fun at high and low, yet always manages to wrap everybody – or almost – around his little finger. Unfortunately, the one man who is immune to Till's jolly jokes is the mayor, who wields the most power in the town and who has just made a fool of himself one time too many thanks to Till. The chase is on for the elusive prankster and his helpers, like the beautiful, high-born Kathrin, who is thrown into jail and must now be freed by her young daughter Marie, a feisty little girl with a secret in her past. She and Till set out on an adventure-filled journey to find a special key that will unlock the door to Kathrin's dungeon. Catapulted to the top of the mayor's "hang 'em" list, Till may not have the last laugh this time – unless Marie can prove herself as clever, witty and brave as Till...
