Turi Gábor, a celebrated figure at the Vienna Opera House, has inherited a vast landed property from his uncle, providing he was ready to give up his theatrical career. He settles down on his estate with Doretti, his impresario, whom he decides to take with him. Bruckner Ágnes, Turi's distant relation, also wants to get hold of the inheritance and, following the advice of his father, a famous solicitor in Vienna, gets Turi, with some assistance from Doretti, to perform at the Opera again. The plan is a success. Turi sings the leading role in Dream Waltz, losing his right to the fortune. However, the young people fall in love with each other and the huge estate eventually becomes their joint property. (official distributor synopsis)
