This is a documentary film about the friday night café called Walkers which activities is to effect on the alienation of young people from the society and possibly prevent it. In 1994 the first Walkers night café was opened in the center of Helsinki. Now there are 26 different Walkers cafes around in Finland. The documentary follows the activities of Caitsy Rantanen who is the captain of Helsinki Walkers cafe and some of the volunteer workers who face the young people and understand their problems. In the beginning the squabble between different youngsters and the joining of foreign youngsters added the tension and violent situations but they were all got under control. Later in 1995 the groups of youngsters with multiple problems and the group of foreign youngsters already became the customers of the cafe and they got to know each others better. (YLE)
