Life Is All You Get

On the way to work Jan Nebel gets involved in a street fight. Before he can find out what's going on, he's injured two police officers. While fleeing, the strange beauty Vera attaches herself to him. The next day, Nebel wakes to some unpleasant consequences: he loses his job, he must pay a fine, and it's not exactly idyll at his sister's apartment where he's staying... On the other hand he's found Vera, who seems to be his dream-girl. But their happiness is very fragile. Jan's worried he's got HIV, Vera flees their bed every night... The same as other characters in this story, Jan and Vera are trying to find themselves, friendship, happiness, and true love. (Zlín Film Festival)
