Six Cents in the Pocket

A young man promises to look after his friends' apartment while they travel to Europe. Postcards from various destinations arrive and involve him in the journey, if only imaginatively. When rumours of a plane crash in the friends' vicinity grow stronger, the mood of the film alters. By means of precisely composed shots and the pointed presentation of objects as placeholders for the narrative, Ricky D'Ambrose conjugates recurring moments of passing time.
