A series of student films from Libya presents stories from the lives of people in a country marked by civil war. Shorts from 2012 include a woman who wants to learn how to drive, a young runner returning to his sport after losing a kidney in a shootout, and an old man who makes the best sandwiches in the area. Their desire for a normal life is inspiring, but fulfilling it in an unstable country, full of mistrust and bureaucracy, isn't easy. This documentary is a part of the From Tripoli project, organised by the British Council. (One World)
