Realizing that nothing becomes the life of a musician quite like the leaving of it, unscrupulous agent Marty Starr (Rik Mayall) decides that Mavis Davis (Jane Horrocks), his discovery of years earlier whose record sales are sagging, could use a career boost--by dying! His attempts to arrange an early demise for his client fuel the laughs of this showbiz comedy, which also stars Danny Aiello. (official distributor synopsis)
