How might your life be better with less? Minimalism is a lifestyle that helps people question what things add value to their lives - clearing the clutter from life's path so we can make room for the most important things. Minimalism examines the many flavors of minimalism by taking the audience inside the lives of minimalists from all walks of life. From minimalist architects, designers, and musicians, to businessmen, authors, and minimalist families, this film explores various recipes for how to live a more meaningful, deliberate life. Not a perfect life, not an easy life - a simple one. (Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival)

English I can think of a much better documentary on minimalism. This comes across as an acting performance by two guys who enjoy the fact that they were able to go down this path. I didn't really believe them, it didn't feel natural. I enjoyed some of the peripheral stories, but on the other hand they didn't get enough space. The idea was good, the execution didn't grab me. 2.5 stars ()

English It has to be admitted that the idea being presented here is not a bad one at all, but I can't help the fact that the gentlemen presenting it are not very credible to me. I'm therefore reviewing Minimalism: A Documentary About the Important Things more so from the point of view that some people may find interesting inspiration here, which is good. ()
