The Wall Busters Gang

Summer 1989. For thousands of East German citizens the "green border" in Hungary suddenly becomes an escape route to the West and 12-year-old Marion's parents use this opportunity as well. They soon find themselves in West Berlin – with their old life, friends and apartment in East Berlin. The family lives in one of the hastily erected containers created for the flood of migrants. When the Wall comes down on November 9, it does not take long till Marion's best friend Sibylle from East Berlin shows up. Now Marion and Sibylle can return to their "old home country". But things have changed there as well and the kids will find their own way in their new world... (Zlín Film Festival)
