Diorama

Kolja and Rocio sit in front of a diorama of the desert – a place they never visited because they broke up before they could make the trip. In this stark landscape they return together to the light and rosy beginnings of their relationship. But they also revisit moments far more reminiscent of nightmare, as mutual recollections transform into surreal visions of what might have been.... Like the effect of a diorama, this striking film also blurs the line between reality and its mere imitation, but the feeling of unfulfilled desire for true love is more than real.
