Revenge is Sweet

The young girls in a ladies' boarding house are preparing for the summer holidays. Evelyne, Márta and Madame Fleury, the French tutoresse, all travel in the same car. In the meantime, thanks to Walter Ákos's manipulations, the shares of the mine at Muraköz lose their value at the Stock Exchange, getting Evelyne and her family into a difficult situation. The girl learns who is to blame and swears to take revenge on Walter, with the help of her friend, Márta. Evelyne is successful in preventing Walter from orchestrating his own marriage of convenience by pretending to be his mistress. Then, thanks to her efforts, a promising business falls through. The man, however, it appears, is set to make amends for his former mistakes, and what has, so far, been a fight between them evolves into a love affair. (official distributor synopsis)
