In the film about yoik chanting we discover an alternative music concert in the everyday life of Sami yoik singers. We look for reasons for the exceptional vitality of yoik chanting. It has existed for thousands of years and is sung in a hard, barren nature with a very small remnant of a people. (Umeå European Film Festival)
