Told entirely in the words of James Baldwin, through both personal appearances and the text of his final unfinished book project, I AM NOT YOUR NEGRO touches on the lives and assassinations of Malcolm X, Mar tin Luther King Jr., and Medgar Evers to bring powerful clarity to how the image and reality of Blacks in America today is fabricated and enforced. English I know that the film sometimes plays too blatantly on emotions and truth, but on the other hand, if you look at individual scenes, if you listen to people and hear how pitifully they can speak and how miserable they are because of it, this documentary, which is interestingly conceived, will impact you. No, I don't understand this human hatred, which is disgusting. I don't claim that we should all love each other, but any general hatred towards a group based on prejudice is just a poverty of humanity. ()
