Circle of Poison

The environment knows no borders. In some places banned, elsewhere widely used, pesticides whirl into their circle of poison all around the planet. In the US, many pesticides are forbidden to use due to their dangerous environmental and human health impacts. Still this country is a major producer supplying the rest of the world with chemicals. Despite any laws, pesticides circulate around the planet and return to their country of origin in the form of residues in imported food. The circle of poison is complete. Taking us to India, Mexico, Argentina, Bhutan and the United States while meeting prominent personalities, from President Jimmy Carter to his Holiness the Dalai Lama, the movie tells a shocking story of the chemical industry's practices.
