Sealers - One Last Hunt

SEALERS - ONE LAST HUNT is an Arctic roadmovie, with hardy men and women facing sudden storms, harsh conditions and isolation out on the ice-covered ocean. Even though the surroundings are cold, their camaraderie is warm and we get to know a motley yet charming crew: the weathered captain Bjørne, the kind-hearted newbie Håkon and enthusiast Espen, who has kept his grandfather's old, musty thermals, hoping to one day become as cool as the older sealers appear to him. The film is a celebration of a dying way of life. And with a soundtrack filled with country music, it feels that we are sailing along with the cowboys of the sea. (Tromsø International Film Festival)
