Jason Crockett (Ray Milland), invites his family to his beautiful island estate for the 4th July weekend and to celebrate his birthday. Crockett hates nature however, and is poisoning anything that crawls around his estate. On the night of his birthday the frogs, and other inhabitants of the swamps, have become bloodthirsty as a result of the pollution and Crockett’s family are on the menu. Co-starring Sam Elliott and Joan Van Ark, Frogs is sure to make the most hardened viewer squirm as cold green skin meets soft, warm flesh! (88 Films)

English The frogs are just pulling the strings; the real body count goes up thanks to snakes, spiders, crocodiles, lizards and a turtle (!), i.e. the entire fauna of South American marshlands. Frogs is a very bad horror hodgepodge with secondrate acting performances, a very B-grade script and dozens of shots of croaking frogs sitting, staring straight ahead, leaping and crawling over each other. It’s a must (not). P.S.: I saw this movie at an outdoor screening on a tropical African island of Mauricius, accompanied by rain and real frogs croaking! ()
