39 Weeks, 6 Days is an art experiment, an animated diary and a documentary in one, featuring an animated depiction of the interior state of a woman and a man, husband and wife as well as co-auteurs, over a period of 40 weeks of pregnancy, which each perceives in their own unique way. Their inner life is portrayed via associative diary entries on the emotions they experience and collages of imaginative film scenes with surrealistic images. Screened as a prelude to Little Harbour.
