The American movie Eyes of Laura Mars has a problematic screenplay as it certainly does not have the most unpredictable ending you could have imagined. The story builds up interestingly, and some great performances make the movie very watchable. Again, John Carpenter shows he had some great ideas as a screenwriter. They were just not perfected in this movie.
