English What can you expect from the creators of The Simpsons and Futurama other than infantile humor and a lot of allusions to contemporary pop culture. All taking place in the medieval fantasy kingdom of Dreamland. Personally, though, I rather enjoyed this. The first series was fumbling a bit, so half of the episodes presented separate stories, just like in case of The Simpsons, but the other half started a framing story, which was a fortunate decision on the creator’s part. Even though it’s strange to watch an animated series that develops a continuous story, this is definitely a success. I chilled, had fun, grew fond of the characters and especially enjoyed the beautifully animated kingdom, which would take your breath away even if you didn’t like the story and characters. So in short, I had a great time and am looking forward to more episodes. ()

English Here we have the last epoch not yet explored by Groening. An eternally inebriated princess and her friends on their voyage to find the truth, happiness and money. Even though it gets going slowly, it is a very pleasant affair. A lot of it is unoriginal, but full of spirit. The best characters are definitely Luci and Elfo. The finale of the first season leaves everything horribly open. Elfooooo! This means that the first season was just the first half of the series... In terms of quality, it begins to improve in the second half, whether that involve the journey to hell or the steam-punk kingdom, which I hope there will be more of, but every so often a weak episode appears just to fill space. You get to like the characters more and more with each new episode. Elfo rocks with the peeler! ()

English So how is Matt Groening's new series? Different. It's not The Simpsons or Futurama, and it's actually a medieval satire for Netflix. Is a princess who ran away from the altar, her personal demon, and an elf really going to carry the whole series? Although the animation quality is great, the humor is far from being for everyone. English After three seasons, I can confidently say that this is a really awesome series. The fantasy is equal parts parody and love, the humor is wacky black and most importantly... most importantly it has a real plot that ties all the episodes together and gives all the fun here and there the hallmark of something more serious, especially in the third season when things really happen!
