To the Edge of the Sky

To the Edge of the Sky is about the heroic and inspirational battle of four American mothers whose sons are diagnosed with the degenerative Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a fatal disease and the number one genetic killer of boys, as they fight the FDA to gain access to a potentially life-saving drug. The film intimately records the transformation of these four mothers into the country's leading political activists pushing the government to allow access to a drug that may help save their sons' lives and the children of hundreds of other parents. Their story of unrelenting strength in the face of institutional adversity shows us that change is possible if you are willing to fight for it.
