Found in a Dream

Set in Melbourne and in Ethiopia, Found in a Dream explores the story of a young adopted African Australian man and the social issues that surround him. Abeselom, a young drug dealer, is experiencing isolation and segregation, themes that often lead young African Australian people to struggle with relationships, education and work. But Abeselom’s world is changed when he meets Netsanet, a beautiful nurse, and for the first time he feels real love again. Found in a Dream is about love, culture, and ultimately, finding comfort within connection. (Pan African Film Festival)
