La castración

The film’s storyline is about the life of Lourdes, a young girl about to turn 24 experiencing a strange situation. Even though her friend and guide, Victoria, continually insists, Lourdes has never had any type of sexual contact, not even a “kiss with tongue”. An explication to this relation barricade by the star of the film, might lie in the fact that she spends her days tormented by her mother’s unexplained abandonment, leaving her to care for her handicapped dad. Due to certain adjustments in her destiny, her mother suddenly returns, event which may lead to a radical change in her life. (El Riviera Maya Film Festival)
